isg bpo Jul 2013 520Die Information Services Group (ISG, NASDAQ: III), führend in Benchmarking, Market Intelligence und Advisory Services, veröffentlichte jetzt die Daten zum Outsourcing-Markt in Europa, dem Mittleren Osten und Afrika, die für das zweite Quartal 2013 bei Vertragsvergaben für Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) eine Rekordzahl belegen.

Der 2Q13 EMEA ISG Outsourcing Index, der kommerzielle Outsourcing-Verträge mit einem jährlichen Vertragswert (Annual Contract Value; ACV) von mindestens vier Millionen Euro erfasst, verzeichnete für das zweite Quartal 2013 in EMEA einen ACV von 1,6 Milliarden Euro. Dies entspricht einem Rückgang um 23 Prozent gegenüber dem zweiten Quartal 2012 und um 16 Prozent gegenüber dem ersten Quartal 2013.

Versicherer verschenken Chancen beim Outsourcing

Besonders zögerlich sind die Assekuranzen beim Thema Offshoring, der Auslagerung von Services nach Übersee. Neben Datenschutzbedenken klagen diesbezüglich 57 Prozent über Probleme mit der Zeitverschiebung. Das sind Ergebnisse der Studie „Erfolgsmodell Outsourcing 2013" von Steria Mummert Consulting.
